Have you received your copy of American Patchwork and Quilting? Not a subscriber? What do you mean? I thought everyone subscribed to this magazine? LOL!
I have loved loved this magazine from the first moment I set eyes on it and I have been subscribed since 1999. Oh, and I still have every issue (they take up a bit of room in my closet but I get separation anxiety when I even think of ridding myself of an issue).
Anyway. I have a special interest in this month's issue.
Isn't She lovely? That cover quilt is absolutely gorgeous...
But I kinda like these better....
See... that couple in the corner... That is my baby girl with her new hubby!
APQ picked up the story of her 13 Quilts and decided to spotlight her journey in the Quilting Changes Everything column. I was floored when they reached out to me and asked for her contact information for the piece.
I'm a bit proud. But then, I'm always a bit proud.
Now, with that said,
I'll let you know that I just put Kim Diehl's cover quilt on my to be made list.
Oh and for those lovers of everything Jo Morton... She also has a quilt in this issue.
So don't hesitate to pick up your issue (if you don't already have it being delivered) because there is some serious eye candy.. even after you pass the first page! LOL!
Oh, and for those that are looking for a followup on the quilts... Check out Nyshma's blog, she has posted a "Where are they now" followup.

That is so exciting, I saw the picture of the bride and groom when I was briefly looking through my magazine last night. Will go back and read the story of the 13 quilts. Best wishes to the new bride and groom.
Congratulations! That is so exciting and I can't wait to get my hands on an issue and read about the 13 quilts. My all time favorite publication as well. Gorgeous bride by the way!
And on the very first page no less! That is so cool!
It was fun top open the magazine today and read the article...knowing it was your daughter. I can't think of many young brides who make a goal to quilt so many quilts before marrying. Wonder how many she wants before their first child? Hee! No doubt your proud!!!
I enjoyed your post about the 13 quilts and now that I see it has been written up in a magazine, I'll be getting that issue. It's an amazing story. Thanks for sharing and giving the head's up on the magazine.

I missed your post about the quilts so when my issue arrived the other day, the beautiful wedding picture had my attention as soon as I saw it. The story of the quilts is wonderful! As I read this post, I went to get my issue and I read it all over again. Congratulations to you ~ and to the happy couple. :)
